GATE's Unique 0.75 Aspect Ratio Explained

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) has very specific technical requirements for photos. Unlike the standard 3.5x4.5cm used in most exams, GATE requires an aspect ratio of **0.75 (Width : Height = 3 : 4)**. This means your photo width must be exactly 75% of its height. The pixel range is also strict: Width between 240-480 pixels and Height between 320-640 pixels. Using a standard square or wide photo will result in distortion or rejection.

Critical Rejection Rules
