How Category Age Relaxation Works
Almost all central exams (SSC, Railways, UPSC, IBPS) offer standard age relaxation for reserved categories:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): +3 Years
- SC/ST: +5 Years
- PwD (Unreserved): +10 Years
- PwD (OBC): +13 Years
- PwD (SC/ST): +15 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: Typically 3 years after deduction of military service rendered.
Our tool allows you to check your exact age. Once you have it, you can easily apply the relaxation manually. For example, if the general limit is 27 years and your calculated age is 28 years 2 months, as an OBC candidate, you are still fully eligible!
