Railway recruitment notifications are famous for one thing: Confusion. "Age as on 1st July", "Age relaxation for OBC", "Ex-servicemen quota"... by the time you do the math, the deadline might pass.
If you are born even one day after the cut-off, your application is rejected. Don't rely on mental math. We built this calculator specifically for the 2026 Railway Vacancy cycle.
🗓️ Critical Date: 1st July 2026
For most Railway exams (NTPC, Group D), your age is calculated as of July 1, 2026. If the notification comes late in the year, this might shift to Jan 1, 2027.
